I am pleased to share the following information with you. I recently attended a meeting for the Wigs 4 Kids organization. The speaker was Maggie Varney of St. Clair Shores, Michigan, who is the CEO and founder of the organization and is totally dedicated to helping children with hair loss. Wigs 4 Kids is a non-profit 501 organization that reaches out to kids and young adults by helping them with the struggle for social acceptance and making them feel good about their physical appearance. The main focus is on young cancer patients and includes other young people dealing with Lupus, Alopecia, Trichotillomania and burns.
